Building a Strong Team Environment

In this workshop, participants will have an opportunity to collaborate and build a strategic plan to assess the culture of the organization and brainstorm ways to enhance the alignment of their teams to the organization’s mission. This workshop is designed to help leaders strengthen their team’s morale, unity, and performance. (90 minutes)

Change Management

No matter how significant a change is in an organization, proper execution, support, and messaging helps employees adjust to change. In this workshop on Change Management, leaders will have the opportunity to put a plan together to execute change within their organization. The group activity uses “real” examples of change in their organization and invites participants to work in groups to design a strategy to execute change in the future. (2 hours)

Close More Sales & Generate Repeat Business

In this interactive high-level sales course, we will focus on 3 key areas of the sales process: needs analysis, creating a proposal, and closing. In this half-day session, we will cover professional branding, the importance of product positioning, creating a solid proposal, asking for the sale, addressing objections, and building repeat business. Participants will have an opportunity to apply the skills they learn to their business practices.

Creating Exceptional Guest Experiences

Creating Exceptional Guest Experiences Workshop is for organizations who wish to empower their employees with the skills and knowledge necessary for providing extraordinary hospitality and exceptional guest experiences. Highlighting the organization’s mission statement and core values, workshop participants will learn how to effectively communicate with guests, anticipate their needs, and handle various situations professionally. Training will include both theoretical and interactive components to ensure employees understand the principles of guest service and can apply them in the fast-paced, real-world scenarios they encounter daily. (3 hours)

Conducting Effective Interviews

In this interactive and engaging workshop, participants will review the process for posting job openings as well as selecting and interviewing candidates. Hands-on activities for revising job descriptions, screening candidates, and conducting effective interviews are designed to help hiring managers clarify their understanding of their organization’s hiring process, sharpen their hiring skills and maximize their hiring efforts. (3 hours)

Creating an Inclusive Environment in the Workplace

Creating an Inclusive Environment in the Workplace Workshop is designed for organizations that are committed to fostering diversity and inclusion within their teams. During this session, participants will have the opportunity to explore and understand the importance of inclusion, learn about the key behaviors that contribute to a cohesive team, and identify the characteristics of an inclusive workplace environment. This interactive workshop provides an opportunity to discuss, share, reflect, and collaborate to develop a strategy that can implement a more inclusive workplace environment in their organization. (2 hours)

Frontline Supervision Training

The Frontline supervision training is designed to equip new supervisors with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively supervise and manage a team of frontline employees. This training program focuses on developing leadership abilities, communication skills, problem-solving techniques, and conflict resolution strategies.

Participants in this training will learn how to set clear expectations, provide constructive feedback, and motivate their team members to achieve their goals. They will also gain an understanding of the importance of employee engagement and how to create a positive work environment.

By the end of the training, participants will have the tools and techniques to effectively lead their team, improve productivity, and create a culture of excellence within their organization. (24 hours—divided over 6 sessions)

Office Outlook Level I

You probably use Microsoft Outlook every day and it works “just fine.” However, you may not be aware of the many productivity and efficiency tools available in the program that will take your experience from “just fine” to “Holy cow, I didn’t know I could do that!”

In this workshop, you’ll learn to master the features of Microsoft Outlook for increased productivity and efficiency. At the end of this workshop, you’ll be saving time, reducing frustration, and taking full advantage of Outlook’s email and calendar functionalities.

Office Outlook Level II

Office Outlook has many advanced features that can make your email work experience more efficient and even pleasant. Take your Outlook skills to the next level with the Level II workshop! In this workshop, you’ll build on skills learned in the Outlook Level I Training. At the end of this workshop, you’ll be saving time, reducing frustration, and taking full advantage of Outlook’s email and calendar functionalities.

Resolving Conflict in the Workplace

Resolving Conflict in the Workplace can be challenging at all levels. This workshop is designed to help participants adopt best practices in conflict resolution. Participants will learn tips on how to handle and quickly resolve conflicts that their teams face and identify strategies that they believe will work best. (2 hours)

ServSafe Manager Certification Training

This a training prepares students to take the ServSafe certification exam for managers. Topics covered include: The Importance of Food Safety, Good Personal Hygiene, Time and Temperature Control, Preventing Cross-Contamination, Cleaning and Sanitizing, Safe Food Preparation, Receiving and Storing Food, Methods of Thawing, Cooking, Cooling and Reheating Food, HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), Food Safety Regulations, and more. The course culminates with the national certification exam. Training can be offered at your location or on campus. (8 hours including exam time)
